What we don't do yet, and what we'll tell you before you ask.

We'd rather be honest about where the data and the platform are still maturing than oversell and underdeliver. This page covers what's limited today, what's inherent to the source data, and what we don't do at all.

Payer coverage is incomplete.

Cigna is processed at production scale. UnitedHealthcare is in active rollout. Every other commercial payer is on a roadmap driven by client demand. If you're contracting with a payer we haven't yet processed, we'll tell you directly and give you a realistic timeline — or a realistic “not soon.”

What the files themselves don't tell you.

The TiC rule requires payers to publish negotiated rates, not actual paid amounts. The rate published in the file is what's contractually on paper — it doesn't reflect how claims actually adjudicated, how often a given code was billed, or how often the rate was honored without downstream adjustment.

Plan-level variation within a single payer is also real. A payer may have dozens of distinct plan instances, each with its own rate file. We reconcile this into comparable benchmarks, but the buyer should know the underlying complexity exists.

MRF files update monthly. We stay current, but “current” means current-as-of-last-published-file, not real-time.

The work we don't do.

  • Your payer's actuarial function. We inform negotiations; we don't price risk.

  • Legal review of contract language. Separate discipline, separate expertise.

  • Claims-level analytics. If you need to analyze what was actually paid versus what was contracted, you need claims data, which is a different problem.

  • Rate-setting for self-pay or direct-to-employer. Adjacent, possibly in scope later, not today.

Work in progress.

  • Client-accessible dashboards. Our internal analytical pipeline is production-grade; the client-facing self-serve layer is being built deliberately.
  • Additional payer integrations, on the timeline noted on the Data page.
  • Multi-client reporting and benchmarking templates — currently delivered bespoke per engagement, being systematized.

If you have a question about whether we can help with your specific situation, the fastest way to find out is to ask.
